placeholder EWTN to air Holy Week liturgies
EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network) has scheduled several telecasts from the Vatican for Holy Week.

The Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord’s Supper, March 24, will air at noon; the Good Friday Commemoration of the Passion will air on March 25 at noon.

The Easter Vigil Mass will air at 11 a.m. and again at 9 p.m. on March 26. The Easter Sunday Mass in St. Peter’s will be broadcast at 9 a.m. and repeated 9 p.m.

EWTN will also air the Solemn Way of the Cross, March 25, at 5 p.m. and 9 p.m., and the Holy Father’s Easter Message and Blessing, March 27 at 10:30 a.m.

Coverage of the Solemn Mass of the Lord’s Supper from the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., will air March 24 at 3 p.m. and the Easter Vigil Mass, March 26, at 5 p.m.

EWTN is carried on Comcast Digital Ch. 229, DISH Satellite Ch. 261, and Direct TV Ch. 422. In San Leandro, San Lorenzo and Hayward, Comcast airs EWTN on Ch. 76 and in Alameda on Ch. 30. Alameda Power carries EWTN on Ch. 19
