Tyme and Chantele, singers with Youth Uprising, entertain participants in the Walk to End Poverty, May 6. More than 300 walkers circled Lake Merritt in the event sponsored by Catholic Charities of the East Bay and the cities of Oakland and Berkeley to draw attention to the ongoing problems of poverty in the East Bay.
