Greeting in Taiwan
Taiwan Cardinal Paul Shan Kuo-hsi and the Dalai Lama, exiled spiritual leader of Tibet, greet each other after their religious dialogue in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Sept. 2, during which both called for the cultivation of spirituality and ethics. The conversation drew an audience of more than 1,000 people. The Dalai Lama was in Taiwan to comfort victims of last month’s typhoon.
