| Communication workshop proves popular

When the Diocese of Oakland offered a communications workshop for couples last month, an overflow crowd responded.
Registration is open for the second communications workshop, which will be offered from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. April 21 in the parish hall of the Cathedral of Christ the Light, 2121 Harrison St., Oakland. Registration for the event will end by April.
The workshops are focused on married couples — but others, such as engaged couples and singles who want to improve their communications skills, may also attend.
Participants will receive a 102-page book, and a light lunch will be served. There is no cost for the event, but donations for the lunch are welcome.
